(BB.TSS9 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WANGANUI, April 7. The rooms were crowded with spectator* witnessing Henderson meet Leggat to-day, and the Auoklanders, after brilliant play, secured both wins. Boreham - and Brace had two slashing games, the Oamaru craok being victorious in both. Boreham its almoat sore to win the championship; he ia in splendid form and playing great games. Wellington audOAmara m#efc to-morrow. Kay, who was coming up very atroncj, went baok to-day. He is certain of a ppze. A meeting of the Draughts Association .decided to hold the next tournament in , Oaraaru. "Vice-Preeidente have been elected in every district in both North and South Islands. The present tournament has been a great success, and the same rules are to be adopted for conducting the next championship meeting, which is to take place next Eaater. All the players, although formerly in favour of the kuouk-out system, have altered their views, unanimously agreeing that all-round play is best for such a distinction as the champion, consequently every player will play every other player two games in.the next tournament. The following are the scores :—Boreham played 28 garner, scored 24; Kay 32, 21; Lesrgat 26, 19; Keuderson 22, 16£ ; Anderson 32, 16£ ; Gibson 31, 16; Montgomery 23, 16; Murray 28. 14£; Bruce 30, 14} Younger 26, 14; Menzioi 30, 13; Lowther 28, 12*; Oliver 26.12J; Davy 26, 12; Blair 28, 8i; Robertson 32, 6i; Lyon 32, 3*.
