PERSONAL ITEMS.
The Hon. W. Hall-Jones was a passenger from Wellington by the Takapuna yesterday. He went on to Oaniaru by the express. The Hons. J. A. Cadmau and J. G. Ward are paaseDgers from Wellington by the Hanroto to-day. Mr Cadman is expected to return to Wellington on Saturday. Mr J. Dathie, M.H.R., was a passenger for Weliington by the Takapuna yesterday. Mr Kippenberger went 'by the same steamer. The Hon. P. and Mrs O'Grady were passengers for Auckland by the same steamer. Captain Macfariane was a passenger for Danedin by the Coriona yesterday. Mr P. Patullo. Danedin; the Hon. L. Walker, Fouc Peaks; Mr W. Grant, Tiraaru; Mr J. C Waeon, Uorwar; Mr W. Pollard, Marlkorough ; Mr E. G. Holmea, Jfigeon Bay ; Mr J. H. Menzies, Macintosh Bay; Mr H. A, Knight, Racecourse Hill; Mr J. Studholme, Hindu ; Mr H. Bristol, Pig Hunting Creek ; Mr H. Ford, Timaru ; Mr D. McLaren, Timara; Mr C. H. Tripp, Timaru; Mr T. J. Hay, Pigeon B*y; Air A. Orr, Mount Somers; and Mr R. Fleming, Port Levy, were in town yesterday.
