WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

(PB.ESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, March 11. The Wesleyan Conference deferred the third reading of stations to Friday morning. It was resolved that letters of commendation be given to the Revs. W. Lee, J. W. Lewis aud T. A. Joughin, who are about to visit England and other countries, and that the Rev. W. Lee be representative of this Conference to the British Conference and th 9 Rev. J. W. Lewis to the Irish Conference ; aIBO that Mr W. Shepherd Allen be requested to convey fraternal greetings of this Conference to the British Conference. The Home Mission and Church Extension Fond tor the year 1895 was reported as £2510, there being a deficiency of £122. The estimated income for 189G is £2676, and the estimated deficiency £125. A water picnic was held at Lake Takapuna to-day, 500 being present, under the auspices of the Wesleyaa Conference and the United Methodist District Meetings.
