THE PALETTE CLUB AND THE ART SOCIETY.

TO THB KDITOK OF THB PBXSS. Sir, —The letter of your correspondent signiug himself "A Member," which appears in your issue of this morning, ia, to aay the least of it, premature, since the Palette Club have toot as yet decided "to join again in the exhibition of the Art Society." Negotiations are pending, which may, and I trust will, result in a reunion of the two institutions; but, under the circum* stances, any undue haste in anticipating a favourable issue ia strongly to be deprecated. —Yours, &c, W. E. Fairholmi, Hon. Secretary Christ church Palette Olub. 11th March, 1896.
