Press Association—By MELBOURNE, February 1. Martin, the American cyclist, left for New Zealand yesterday. Parsons visits Eugland in April. At the Victorian Cycling League meeting the weather was fine and there was a good attendance. The following were results :— International Scratch Mile—Porta (Italy) .1, Kirk 2, Fitzgerald 3. Among the starters was Parsons. Porta won by five yards. Time, 2rain 51 2 sth sec Five Mile Cham?ionship of Australia Parsons (Victoria) 1, orta 2, Kirk 3. A splendid race, won on the post by six inches amid great excitement. Time, 13min 28.cc. Lewis was unable to take part in the race owing to the death of his brother. Five heats of the League Cap race were decided, and the final will be run on Saturday next.
