THE LATE BISHOP LUCK.
(CRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, January 24. The Premier has telegraphed a message of condolence to F*ther Luck. The editor of the New Zealand Tablet also sent a message. The Dunedin branch of the Hibernian Australian Catholic Benefit Society telegraphed to plaoe a wreath ou the coffin on their behalf.
The body of Bishop Luck lay this evening in state in St. Patrick's Cathedral. A solema dirge was chanted and the Cathedral was crowded. Father Gillam pronounoed au eloquent panegyric on the deceased Bishop.
Bishop Luck, by his will, has lefb uothiog personally to his successors, bub everything for the use of the diocese aud the Church.
The Premier sent a telegram of condolence to Father Lenihau, administrator, re the death of Bishop Luck.
