ENGLAND'S FOREIGN POLICY.
MESSAGE FROM LORD SALISBURY, t Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. London, January 14. Lord'Rosebery declares that foreign affairs demand the most concentrated, vigilant and sympathetic attention of all parties. Sydney, January 14. Mr Reid has received the following cable message from Lord Salisbury:— " The Government heartily thank you and, through you, the Governments of Australia and Tasmania, for your patriotism and assurances of sympathy and support. Nothing can give to us greater confidence in maintaining the rights of our country than the knowledge that we have the approval and good will of our fellow-subjects in the colonies."
