THE COMMISSION CRITICISED. Press Association—By Telejrraph—Copyright London, January 8. The Times, discussing the American Commission on the Venezuelan frontier difficulty, believes it to ba without sufficient weight to influence opinion outside the United States. It declares Mr Gondert, one of its members, to be biassed, as he recently denounced Great Britain as the bully of the world. New York, January 3. Commercial men in the city strongly censure Mr Cleveland's action, and advise that the question should be submitted to arbitration.
