MINISTERIAL.
A Press Association telegram states that the Colonial Treasurer returned to Wellington from the South yesterday. The Minister for Lands is to arrive there on Wednesday, and the Miaistor for Railways is expected there on Friday. The appointment of successors to Sir Patrick Buckley and Mr Reeves and the redistribution of portfolios will be discussed at a full Cabinet about Friday next. The Otago Daily Times understand*? that the Hon. W. D. Stewart joins the Ministry as Attorney-General, in succession to Sir Patrick Buckley, and that Mr T. Thompson, the member for Auckland, is most likely to be Minister for Labour.
