Napier, December 23. Tho Waiapu and United cricket clubs met on Saturday, but the United cannot be congratulated on the number that turned up, as the Waiapu had to lend them five' men to field. Tho United were then two mon Bhort at the wickets. Tho United opened their second innings, but despite a fortunate score of 57 by Ludbrook, and a well put togethor 15 by Shea, the inninus closed for 106, making a grand total of 201. The Waiapu club opened out with Wolstenholme and Gore, and these two soon put together tho 49 without th« loss of a wicket, thus winning by ten wickot/ and 10 runs.
