ESTIMATED LARGE DEFICIT. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright January 1. The revenue for the half-year shows a decline of £112,000 compared with the corresponding period last year. Included in this year's revenue is £20,000 income tax, which was absent in last year's. Customs and excise show a decrease of £69,000. The territorial revenue displays a small increase. The railway shows a decrease of £65,000. The bulk of this decrease occurred during the last three months. The Treasurer estimates that at the end of the half-year he will be short £296,000.
