The following are the entries for the cycling events in connection with the combined meeting on Thursday and Saturday next :— First Day. Half-Mile Bicycle Handicap—R. Crow (Dunedin), C. H. Jones, rl. I'ive Mile Bicycle Championship—-Same as in the Half-mile, with the addition of Easeon (West Coast) and Shorland (Christchurch). «, Ten Mile Bicycle Championship—Same as Half-mile Championship, with the addition of Easson (West Coast) aud Laugdown and Shorland (Christchurch). Second Dat. One Mile Bicycle Championship—Same as Five Mile Race. Twenty-five Mile Bicycle Championship— Same as for Ten Mile Race. The following is the New Zealand team selected to represent the colony in the Australasian Championship Meeting, to take place on Thursday and Saturday next at Lancaster Park:— 100 yds and 220yds—F. A. Robinson and H. M. Reeves (Canterbury) and A. J. Patrick (Wellington). Quarter-mile—W. A. Low (Danedin) and W. Balch (Canterbury). Half-mile—W. A. Low (Dunedin). One Mile—W. F. Bonnatb (Danedin) and C. R. Clark (Canterbury). Three Mile—W. F. Bennett (Dunedin) and A. W. Bell (Wellington). 120 yds Hurdles—W. H. Martin (Auckland) and J. Moir (Canterbury). 440 yds Hurdles—T. Roberts and W. H. Martin (Auckland). One Mile and Three Mile Walks—F. H. Creamer (Auckland). High Jump—P. J. Brown (Canterbury) and H. S. Bailey (Wanganui). Long Jump— J. L. Ryan (Hawke's Bay) and. L. A. Cuff (Canterbury). Throwing the Hammer—R. Martin (Dunedin) and P. J. Brown (Cauteibury). Putting the Weight—W. C. Rhodes (Welliogtjn). Pole Jump—H. L. Kingsley (Wanganui) and R. Hunter (Nelson). .. W. V. Kingston (Dunedin) was selected for the 100 yds and 220 yds, but informed the Selection Committee that he would not be able to compete. Messrs M'Cormack and Low have been appointed managers of the. team.
