ARRIVAL OF THE MARAROA.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELE3RAM.) Wellington, December 25. The Mararoa, which arrived from Sydney this afternoon after a fine-weather passage, brought 179 passengers for all ports. She brings a large mail, consisting of 300 bags. Among her passengers were Sir Francis Dillon Bell, Professor PittCobbett, Judge Cooper, and a number of Australian competitors for the athletic championship meeting at Christchurch.
