A secoud survey waa held on the steamer Fifeshire by Captain Willis, representing Lloyd's, aud Mr Roberts, representing the ownets, on Tuesday. The inspection of the water ballast tanks and other parts occupied the whole of the day, and will be continued again this morning. It is understood that the damage sustained by the steamer is of a more extensive nature than was at first supposed.
