The distribution of prizes took place on Friday. Major Edmundson presided and presented them. Each child who had passed a standard received a book, and special prizes were also given. Most popular boy— Vincent Leathern. Most popula. girl— Winnie S. Limbrick. Reading (Mr Carleton's prizes—Standards VI., V.—Annie J. P. Watson; Standard IV.—Agnes M. Brake; Standard lll.—Bessie Brake and Maggie Carleton equal. Special prize for sewing (Mrs H. E. Perymau's prize)— Ellen Wallace. The following were awarded sewing prizes:—Standard Vl.—Maud Limbrick 1, Florence Herrick 2; Standard V.— Nelly Edmundson 1, Maggie Ludemann 2, Nelly Barnett 3; Standard IV., May Brake 1; ' Ettie Tanner 2, Lena Heinzmanu 3. Standard lll.—Bessie Brake 1, Maggie Carleton 2; Standard IL—Aunie Miltier ; Standard I. —May Barnett 1, Jane McKenzie 2; Class 11. —Flora Philpott 1, Ada Zimmermanu ; Class I. — Sarah Welsh. Votes of thanks to the Chairman and the ladies who judged the sewing brought the meeting to a close.
