I Efforts have been made to ascertain I how much, if any, deterioration has taken place in the chilled butter , reported on by the Agent-General. Analyists agreed that only very slight ' changes had occurred. One expert certified to a decrease of volatile acids to the extent of 0.21 per cent., while ' another found a decrease of 1.7. Further tests are to be made during J the next three months. Wheat is firm at 4s 3d; oats, Algerian, 2s 7d; maize, 3s sd; bran, Is; potatoes, new crop, £4 15s to £5; : onions, £4. Adelaide.
