CANTERBURY v NEW SOUTH WALES.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir—,l write to ask the Managers to remedy a great defect on previous occasions. This match on the 14th instant promises to be a really -first-clues one. To ensure a large attendance of the public, and consequently good ail-round cricket, it is imperative that regular half-hourly communication to and from Lanoaeter Park is established during the match and advertised. It would greatly increase the attendance if the public could rely on obtaining cars not only to the ground but from it at regular intervals, for with.many of us who can only spare bne or two hours during the day we cannot afford the time to walk there, or wait the chance of obtaining a car, and thus our opportunity of seeing the match is lost. On previous occasions I have been greatly struck and inconvenienced by the want of enterprise shown in this direction. Cricket and tram managers, and coach proprietors should cater for the public, and not let such a golden opportunity slip. I wish you could see your way to advocate this demand of the Pobuo.
