Tho uuuual meeting of tho New Zealand Brewers, &c, was opened to-day, but only routine business was transacted, and au adjournment was made until to-morrow. DUNEDIN, August 1.
John Keown was committed for trial for shooting Hugh Stewart, bailiff, at Balfour.
