CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB.
The monthly meeting of the Committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club was held on Tuesday afternoon. The folio iViug transfers were granted :—Mr H. Horsford to Mr P. Butler eh g Medicus; from Mr T. Morrin to Mr S. C. Caulton eh f, by Hotchkisa— Yattaghan, and b f, by Castor —Madcap ; from Air T. Morrin to Mr A. Austin, br c, by Cuirassier—Katipo ; from Mr T. Buddicombe to Mr J. Brett, St. Cloud, by St. Leger—Pawerewere. A bonus of £10 was voted towards the publication of the "New Zealand Turf register," 1894-95. T. fcjiieenau applied for a grant from the Distressed Jockeys' Fund on account of being incapacitated by a fall at the Wellington Steeplechase Meeting. It was resolved that Mr Sheeuan be asked to apply to the Club on whoso ground the accident occurred. The followiug jockeys' and trainers' licenses were granted :— Trainers—Robert Dcrretfc, H.
