It will interest m_ny iv our community to know, says the Otajo iJai.ij Times, that Mr C. Bilis, of George street, h_s now on view in his shop the ouly known specimen there is of a black penguin. Some years ago a black penguin v,_s included ttnimg the specimens in the Otago Mu3oam, but it was secured by Sir Walter B-ller and taken by him to E.inland, and, unfortunately, lost while Sir Walter was returning to the colony. The specimen which M-: Bills has is au exceedingly tine one, and on account of its uniqueness it miy ba regarded a3 very valuable.
