INTENSE COLD IN LONDON. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. London, February 7The thermometer in London and suburbs has fallen below zero. A man walked across the ice floes in the Thames at London Bridge. *■■ February 8. An ice field throe miles long and a hundred yards in breadth is outside Sheerness. Numerous trains have been embfedded in snow in England, and there is much distress owning to the stoppage of trade. The river Scheldt is completely frozen, and many vessels are snowed up- . In Italy many are dying of starvation.
