SUICIDE.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.) NEW PLYMOUTH, January 24. A man, named Samuel Julian, committed suicide to-day at Koru. The son of the deceased heard a shot fired and, proceeding to the outbuilding, fonnd his father lying dead, with » double-barrelled gun between his legs. The gun had evidently been fired with the aid of a piece of string. The deceased has beeu despondent of late, but no cause can be assigned for the deed. The police have gone to make enquiries.
