CLERGY TITLES.

The Diocese of Nelson has changed the designation of its parochial clergy, by adopting a suggestion first made by the Synod of Christchurch last session. The titles of In. cumbeut, Curate-in-Charge, and Assistant Curate, are henceforth to give place to those of Rector, Vicar, and Uurate respectively. So that tho clergy of the parochial districts who hold their cures under the BiaboD will now be styled Vicars ; and the clergy* instituted to.parishes will become Rectors. The Synod also made a recommendation to the General Synod that these titles should be established for the whole province.
