Today's news from Livadia states that there is no improvement in the Czar's condition. St. Petersburg, October 19. The condition of the Czar was this afternoon announced as desperate. October 20. The Czar passed a sleep'ess night. His weakness is increasing, and his condition hourly growing worse. Prayers are being offered on his behalf in tbe various churches. It is reported that differences among his medical attendants as to the real cause of the trouble injured the Czar's chances of recovery, while the nursing also has been defective, consequent on these differences in opinion. He is suffering also from dropsy in the legs. The latest bulletin says that a seiies of convulsions have set in, and the patient is temporarily insensible owing uioeuiic poisouing. The Czarina is suffering from nervous prostration, and a specialist has been summoned to attend to her. The Greek Church having dispensed with many formalities, it is expected that tbe wedding of the Czarewitch and Princess Aliz will take place iv a few days, if tbe Czar survives for that length of time. October 21. The Czar is reported to be frequently unconscious. The latest bulletin announces that the patient is in a state of general weakness, but his condition is unchanged. He rose from his bed yesterday, and is reported to have had a long interview with the Czarewitch, during which he indicated the course of policy he wished him to pursue in the event of his death.
