Messrs Benton, Lee aod Kirton's joint mining report says : —The following are the returns for the week—Cumberland, 300oz amalgam from 48 tons clean up ; Wealth of Nations, 2130z from 136 tons clean up ; Globe, 2600z from 280 tons clean up ; Alpine, 3940z from 165 tons clean tip. Gold for the month, 5360z from 615 tons; Progress, 2260z amalgam from 180 ton? ; Big River, 2680z from 130 tons ; total, 16610z amalgam from 939 tons.
