•JHRISTCHURCH SWIMMING CLUB.
The fourteenth annual sports meeting in connection with the Christchurch Swimming Club took place at the West Christchurch School Baths on Saturday. There was a large attendance ot spectators, and some capital racing was witnessed. The judges were Messrs G. Harris, T. S. Foster, and Davis Hunt; starter, Mr W. B. Eyre ; timekeeper, Mr P. Watson; Captain, Mr J. M. Watson, hon. treasurer, Mr E. A. England, and hon. secretary Mr G. J. C. Smart. The following were the results:—

At a meeting of the Committee of the Richmond Amateur Swimming Club on Saturday evening, it was decided to hold the Fifty Yards Easter Handicap in the bath on Wednesday evening, March 21st, and it was decided to give two prizes, the three placed men to score points for the Eden George trophy.
