ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A boy named James Rowe, who lives with Mr H. Woodward of East Oxford, slipped when alighting from a cart and fractured his arm. He was immediately driven to Dr. Volckman's by the Rev. Mr Garbett and the arm wa3 attended to. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TJtL-QRAMS.) AUCKLAND, February 12. Henry Richard Moody, a "labourer and resident of Kiliikihi, was found dead in some fern at the back of the hotel with the remains of a bottle,of'• Old Tom" by his side. The jury returned a verdict that death resulted Ironri the effect of sunstroke while deceased was under tbe influence of liquor. Yesterday morning a little girl named Margaret Ellen Rohan, whose parents reside at Church street, Ponsonby, was accidently killed near Te .Aroha under distressing circumstances. The child, three and a half years of age, was up on a visit to her aunt at Waiorongomai, near Te Aroha. She was in a cart? with her aunt, Mrs O'Grady, driving to church at Te Aroha, when by some accident she fell out of the vehicle. The little girl was thrown to the grotmd with such force that her skull was fractured, aud ahe died shortly afterwards. A man named David Evitts was accidentally killed at Waitehuua, near Raglan, yesterday, while exercisiug a horse. NEW PLVTMOUTH, February 12. A boy named Oliiyer was drow T ned yesterday whilst bathing in the Waiongona river.
