UNITED METHODIST FREE CHURCHES.

The twentieth annual district meeting of the United Methodist Free Churches of New Zealand commenced its sittings last evening in the St. Asaph street Church, when the various circuits in the district were represented aa follows :—Aldington— Rev. G. Hounsell, Messrs J. T. Brown, T. Cutler and T. Thompson.; Auckland —Mr J. B. Wheeler j Christchurch—Rev. J. HO3--kiug, Messrs G. Bowron, C. ft- Leadley and R. H. Tomer; Oxford—Rev. E. Mayson and Mrs Dalley ; Napier—Rev. J. W. Worboys and Mr F. Townshend ; Rangiora— Rsv. H. B- Redstone, Mrs Redstone and Mr G. Allington; Reefton—Rev. J. Edwards, and Messrs Andersen and J. S. Cooke; Richmond—Rev. J. Wrigley, and Messrs J. A. Fieiher and S. Miles; Wellington—Mr Ellison ; Westport—Rev. J. Beunmg; Woodville —Rev. C- Penney, Mr and Mrs J. Sowry, Messrs J. Vile and R. Fennell; Waipawa—Rsv. J. J. Pendray and MrW. Maddiaon. Revs. S. Macfarlane and A. Pecers were members of the meeting ex qffieio. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Chairman, Rev. J. Hosking; Secretary, Mr J. A. Fiesher ; Sub-Secreuiriea, Rev. J. Benning and Mr R. Fenneil; Precentor, Mr S. Cooke ; Scrutineers, Messrs J. Vile <utd R, H. Turner.
