LODGE MEETINGS.

The fortnightly meeting of Court Star ot Canterbury, A.0.F., was held on Monday evening, 0. R> Bro. Machin in the chair. Several P.D. officers and a large number of the members of the , Court were present, also visiting brethren from Iranedin, Western Australia and Wellington. The Woodwards reported thirteen members on the sick fund, the majority of the caws being influenza. P.C.R. Watts reported having attended the meeting of the Friendly Societies' Association on Friday evening, and gave an outline of the bueineu transacted. The C.8.. installed Bro. G. W. Steven as C.R. for the enaning term. Bro. , Steven took the chair, and installed the subordinate officers. It was decided to present P.C.R. Machin with a framed certificate and the usual emblems of -office. In Committee minutes of January 10th, with accounts passed ior payment, was read and confirmed. One member was proposed for initiation. The correspondence was considered and sick 'pay passed for pavmeat. The receipts for the evening were 10177 Ba. The fortnightly meeting of No. 36 $sdg« ley Lodge, L0.0.F., A.0., was held on Wednesday evening, the presiding afficen being N.G. Bro. Joughin and V.Q. Bro. Tabley. The principal business of the evening was the balance-sheet of the last term, which showed very satisfactory results.
