LYTTELTON ELECTION.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —It is .to be sincerely hoped the electors will take no heed of the one-sided resolution passed by Mr Joyce's little Lyttelton clique at last night's meeting in Linwood. There now seems little doubt Mr Joyce has lost the confidence that: has been placed in him in the past. The fact is, the electors are tired of his empty promises and bluff, and extremely doubtful as regards his views ou the education question. The electors will do well in making Mr Blake their final selection at the poll to-day] and return an independent member certain to do credit to the district and act straightforward.—Yours, &c, . Elector.'
