The New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association of Canterbury, Limited, report for the week ending Friday, September 15th, as follows:—• The weather during the week has been very favourable to growth and feed -is coming forward rapidly. Business in grain and produce during the week has been fuirly good. Wheat holders have been cheered by cabled advices indicating a better forward market in England, which it is hoped will be still further marked at an early date. Oats Juave only semi-retail enquiry but holders are firm. Beans and peas are practically closed for the season. Ryegrass is rapidly passing into consumption and values are a shaie firmer. Cocksfoot is now out of first hands and recent prices upheld. Potatoes have fluctuated considerably during the week, but close at about last week's quotations. Buyers are more chary of operating as the season progresses. Present quotations are:— Wheat—Pearl aud Tuscan, 2s Bd, 2s 9d; Hunter's, 2s 7d. 2s Bd, f.o.b. Oats —Milling Canadians, 2s 3d; short feed, 2a 2d; Duns, 2s 2d; Danish, 2s, 2s Id. Ryegrass—Old-pasture, machine-dressed, 4s 3d, 4s 6d; ordinary, 3s 6d to 4s, f.o.b. Cocksfoot—lslb per bushel, 4£d ;-141b, 4id. Potatoes, 80s to 82s 6d at country stations, sacks extra ; 95s f.o.b. Butter—Prime fresh, 9d to lOd; salt, 6d to7d. Cheese—Large, 4d to 4^; loaf, 4£d to sd. Bacon and Hams—Clothed, to Bd. Exports for the week are as under :— Wheat, 1145 sacks ; oats, 716 sacks; seed, 2303 sacks ; peas, 426 sacks ; beans, 1146 sacks; potatoes, 8387 sacks.
