Sir, —Kindly allow mc space your paper to euqn ire from the Board of Educa- ( tion how it. is ihat when a meeting is held ;in the Leeston School on matters connected ! with that iustitution those interested are I set at defiance. I wish to inform the Board of Education that a meeting will be held in the Schoolroom, Leeston, next Monday evening, 11th Inst., to enquire into the treatment several children hare received at the hands 01 the head master. Perhaps the Board may see its way to have a representative present. I attended their usual meeting as a looker on last Monday evening and was puzzled to know whether the Rev. Grant or Mr Baruett was presiding.— Yours, &c, Householder.
