WELLINGTON, July 21. Mrs Reynolds, Sir Robert Stout, and Mr Hutcheson waited on the Minister for Education this afternoon, to bring under his notice the Dunedin Kindergarten schools, and to ask if he could see his way to grant some assistance from the education vote for their maintenance. The Minister expressed himself favourably, and promised to consult his colleagues and the Under-Secretary on the subject. At a meeting of the New Zealand Football Association to-night, it was decided to hold the annual tournament at Newton Park, Wellington, on Friday and Saturday, 25th and 26th August. Messrs A. Perrant (Auckland)' and L. O. Tripp (Wellington) were elected Vice-Presidents of the Association.
