MURDER OF A SHIPS CREW. (P_U_s3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, Jane 29. On the passage from Auckland two cases of measles developed among the Taviuni's passengers, resulting in the steamer being quarantined at Suva, and she was detained there fer twenty-four hours. She was unable to procure fruit. She brings intelligence of the murder of the crew and the plundering of a Queensland labor vessel at the Solomon Islands. Fifty recruits were sent on board, but events proved that they were placed there for the purpose of aiding the massacre. The vessel was a new one, and was burnt to the water's edge.
