AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB.

' - .F. Gxierson, submitted the following natnes ' of competitors to represent the Club at the | Ch&mpionahip meeting on ' Februaxy 11th jaext, at Wellington :—IOO yards, W. Hay--1 ward and L. Broad; 250 yards, L. Broad 1 andP. Wood; 440 yards, P. Wood and J. j 1 Fitzpatriok ; lialf mile, C. G. Rees and F. j J- JUeggatt; one mile, C. G. Rees, C. R. ! Clark and j?. J. Leggatit j three miles, C. J G. Rees ; one mile and three mile walks, no 1 selections ; long jump, A. P. Lingard and 1 W. Mendelson ; high jump, W. Mendelson ' ;and W. J. MojLrj putting the stone, W. S. 1 Moir; throwing the hammer; no selection; 120 yards liuraies and 440 yaftts hurdles, ; W. J. Moir and D. Mataon; pole jump/W. 1 M.West. The recommendations of the Selection Committee were approved so far as they ' had been made. The Selection Committee recommended ; the i oUowing ofJiaodicap, events tot the Ti-uU meeting:—looyds, 440 yds, ; half.mile, -one mile, 440 yds nurdlea, one mile walk, hurdles and iiighjittnp. ' The programme was and it was decidea that the meeting should take place in the fourth week in Jauuary. Mr Geieusos, Hon.
