Tuesday, December 6. (Before his Honour Mr Justice Denniston.) His Honour sat in Chambers at 10.30 a.m. HTESOHBEEO V U'BWAN AND ANOTHER. Mr Izard spoke to the order made herein as to the answering of defendant of interrogatories, pointing out that it was impossible to answer them without the female defendant criminating herself. His Honour pointed out that the defendant need not answer the interrogatories which did what Mr Izard suggested, and tbe answer might be so framed as to raise the point. The application was therefore unnecessary. Mr Cassidy, for plaintiff, applied that costs might be given. His Honour declined the application as to costs. RE SEED AND AGRICULTURAL COM*""ANY OF N.Z. This was an application to wind up the Company. Mr Bruges appeared iv support of the petition. Mr Joynt also appeared and agreed to the onler, provided the Court took the carriage of the proceedings. His Honour made the order for winding up the Company as prayed, the order to be served at the registered office of the Company. RE SAMUEL DUSTY, DECEASED. Mr Deacon applied herein for probate to the executors named. His Honour made the order. . RE URIAH HAINES, DECEASED. Mr Wilding applied herein for letters of administration. After some argument the matter stood over to enable his Honour to look into the authorities.
