There was a large number of persons present at the market to-day. In the yards of Mr W. Buss the entry was 1200 sheep, 30 head of cattle and 120 pigs. The prices realised were for fat crossbred mixed ewes and wethers 14a to 14s 3d, crossbred hoggets lis 6d to 12s lOd, merino ewes and lambs (all count) 6s 6d, merino wethers (three parts fat) 7s to 8s ; beef, equal to 20s per 1001b; cows, springers £7 to £8 15s; pigs, porkers 20a to 30s, small stores 10s to 13a, weanera 7s to 9s.
