The B.s. Brunher was coming up the harbour when oar despatch left Pore last night. The schooner Clio is busy taking a cargo Of produce for Hokitika. The - Union Steamship Company's Pukaki, having completed the discharging of her coals, sailed on Saturday evening forOamaru.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's direct liner made a start on Saturday to put out her inward cargo of general merchandise. Her outward cargo of wheat and frozen mutton was also being rapidly put on board. At her forward hatch the barque Thurso is putting out the balance ot her cargo, while at her after hatch she is taking in her cargo of general produce for Newcastle. From Newcastle she goes on to the Mauritius.

The barque Mimi having taken in sufficient wheat to stiffen her, is putting uut from her forehold the last of her ballast, The barque Clara is now about half full, andit the weather favours loadina operations, is expected to have the whole of her cargo on board by the end of this week. The Union Steamship Company's Rotorua arrived irom Wellington on Saturday morning, and after handling a quantity of cargo, returned attain in the evening. . The s.s, Janet Nicoll arrived from Greymouth on Saturday morning with' a full load of coals, after which she sailed again in the evening for Greymouth direct. The barque August Burchard sailed on Saturday morning for the United Kingdom for orders, getting away with a stiff north-west breeze behind her. She takes Home a full cargo of oats shipped by the Kaiapoi Produce and Milling Company. The barque Paquita, loaded by Messrs THnsey and Co., is expected to sail for the United Kingdom today.

The next boat to put in an appearance should he the Nor'-wester, 547 tons, Captain Young, which left Melbourne for this port on May 28th. She comes to load grain for Messrs Friedlander Bros., for -whom she has been chartered by Messrs ZCinsey and Co. The barque -Wilhelmine finished putting out her cargo of coals and manure on Saturday and will commence to-day to take in a cargo of wheat and oats shipped by the New Zealand Farmers* Co-opera-tive Association for the United Kingdom,
