WELLINGTON, May 31.

Captain Barry, after several interviews with the Native Minister, has come to a satisfactory arrangement in regard to rendering available his recently reported valuable mineral discoveries in the King Country. The locality is near Kawhia, and the block has already passed through the Native Land Court. The Native Minister has undertaken to imtne* diate measures for acquiring a title to the, land and making neceesary surveys. A large mineral lease will then be secured fca» Captain Barry as the discoverer.
