Manapouri, s.s., arrived at 3.30 a.m. yesterday morning from Wellington and Northern ports. She left Auckland on the 21st inst. at 12.30 p.m., Gisborne on the 22nd, Napier on the 23d, and Wellington at 12.30 p.m. yeHteruay. Experienced fine "Weather along the coast. l'he schooner John Bell was signalled from the North when our report lett. The Akaroa left for her usual trip to the Bays, and the Wakatu left for Kaikoura and Wellington late in the evening. The Manapouri got away for Melbourne via Duuediu at a lew minutes past one. The Wareatea and Herald left for Greymouth during the afternoon. The former proceeds direct, while the latter visits Wellington first. There were no less than seven coastal steamers engaged at the wharves during the forenoon yesterday. The Wareatea, Rosamond and Mahiuapua were busy discharging coal, having brought between them 1356 tons for this port. The Kotorua, WakHtu, Manapouri and Herald were discharging and taking in general merchandise, and srave the wharves quite an Active appearance.
