RE CHARLES FALCONER.

The first meeting of creditors in the estate of Charles Falconer, of Lyttelton, fireman, a bankrupt, was held at noon yesterday, at the office of the Official Assignee. " The statement of the bankrupt showed unsecured creditors £76 Os lOd; secured creditors £83 4s (less estimated value of securities £150), surplus to contra £66 16s. The assets were, furniture, £10; surplus from securities, £66 16s; total, £76 16s; leaving a surplus of 15s 2d, The largest creditors were, Charles Rowe, £22 10s ; Dr. Guthrie, £13 ss; J. D. Olliver, £6 lis lid - R. Forbes and Co., £6 0s lOd; Dr. Fitzhenry, £5 12s. The secured creditor was J. Joyce, solicitor, who held a mortgage for £83 4s over 1 rood, part rural section 266. The meeting was adjourned for a week to allow the bankrupt to make a statement of receipts and expenditure.
