FATAL ACCIDENT.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, March 5. - Charles Griffin, living at Port Albert, Was leading a horse, when the animal plunged and threw him to the ground. juFriffiri received concussion of the brain, from which he died in a few hours. Griffin, Who is an old settler, was leading the horse assisted by a young man named Webster, who is his stepson. On the way 46 their farm the horse was restless, and lefts plunging when Griffin let go his hold. At the same moment, however, Webster ■Collided with Griffin, and the latter was -throws violently to the ground, and deceived concussion of the brain, from Which he died.
