AN EVENTFUL VOYAGE.
(PBR PRBSS ASSOCIATION.] Beceived February 7th, 1 a__. Sydney, February 6. The ship Beveron, bound from Fremantle to Howland Island, where she was to load guano, has arrived heTe after a most eventful voyage. On tbe voyage to Howlaud Island, she met with adverse winds, and the passage occupied the lengthened period of seventy-four days. On arrival at the Island, lying off was attendant with great danger, and the officers and men signed a round robin to the captain, requesting him to leave with the ship. Finding himself in an awkward position the captain was forced to accede to the request of the crew, and the vessel was headed for Auckland, but not without a protest from the captain. On the way to Auckland the Deveron again fell in with bad weather, and as she was unable to make that porp the. captain came on here, where the vessel arrived after a passage of twenty-four days. It is the intention of the captain to prosecute the crew ou a charge of mutiny.
