[PB«SS ASSOCIATION TM.EGKAM.] December 22. r A welUattended meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Bowing Association was held this evening to consider where the championships should be rowed, the Auckland Clubs having declined to offer that the events should come off in their district. It was decided that all the four championships should be rowed at the Wanganui Begatta. The proposal that a four-oared race should be included aa a championship event was lost by 17 to 13. An application to the Lvtteiton Bowing Club for the re-instatement of Mr Thomas Harkiss as an amateur was agreed to. Consideration of the reinstatement of Mr Westrupp, of Wakatu, rowing aj ,an amateur was deferred until full information was obtained respecting his performances. The question of fixing the minimum weight for coxswains in the championship races was deferred.
