WAIAU SCHOOL.
At Waiau the annual school treat aafi prize giving took place on the XOth met. The prizes were adjudged by Mr Hugh, Norfchcote. after two days' careful examination. The sewing prizes were sdjndged by Mrs James Macfarlane, of Achray. After all had partaken of a good tea in the prettily decorated school, Mr Hugh cote made hk report, and the prizes were presented by Miss Campbell. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Mac* farlane and to Mr on the.too*' tion of Mr Quartley, also to the ladles who managed the entertainment, ans to Mr Greed, oa the motion of Mr LaCocq, and with three cheers for Mr LeCocqfcnb master, and for Miss Campbell, the meat* ing closed.
