(.BBSS ASSOCIATION *r__Z____t.) , AUCKLAND, December 9. ! Te Mahnki and hi- followers were before the' Supreme Court to-day, charged with riotous behaviour at Te KnitL Allpleaded guilty. Mahnki was sentenced to twelve months* imprisonment, some' of his followers to six months, and others to three. WELLINGTON, December 9. The jury in the Hutt man-laughter case, after being locked up all night, announced this morning that they could not arrive r at a verdict., They were - aocwirdingiy discharged, and a fresh jury empanelled to re-hear the case. | ■ '--.■•.- Later. ; .j The charges of manslaughter against the two Chinese concluded in the -Supreme.
