Hancoz, 19s 6d; Boyd and Keir v A. Neileee, 14s ? Same v F. Teague, 5s 6d. In the case of A. Campbell v P. McDavitt, £30, for rent and damage to tenement, Mr Gresson, for plaintiff, said defendant had filed in bankruptcy. The Resident Magistrate said he had arranged for a valuer when plaintiff sent word be was not needed, who would have to be paid £1 Is; case struck out, plaintiff to pay costs. W. Chambers v H. Mclntoen, Jfci 6s, for medical expenses; some time ago a person wijo was cutting gorse near the Fernaide school left the knife daring the dinner hour, when the son of defendant flourishing ie about struck the plaintiff's child ritw; an amount of £1 13* tJd was now paid into Court, which plaintiff agreed to accept. J. Bouse vR. Fear, £5, value of a sheep dog drives over by defendant's vehicle and killed; Mr Helmore for plaintiff, Mr Spackman for defendant; plaintiff's case was that defendant driving on the wrong aide ran over the dog, which was corroborated by a witness: defendant's case was that the dog rushed at. his horse and fell under the wheel; the Bench considered this the state of the ease, and gave judgment for defendant.
