MARKET REPORTS.
PRODUCE, &c Corn Exchange report (per N. P. Meyers, Secretary) for week ending Friday, the 21st November :— The cooler temperature and slight showers have done much good both to the crops and pastures, but more rain is badly wanted. In wheat the low stocks tend to prevent any downward tendency. Prices remain as last) week. Oats—A fair inquiry for milling, whilst feed are eoinewnat neglected. Sellers, however, are asking rather more than buyers are inclined to give, and business I*, therefore, restricted. Barley—None offering. Beans—A very limited business in cuts pulse can be reported. Peas—Prussi in Blues have commanded more notice than has been observable of late. Feeding sorts are tot Ily neglected. Potacoes—The market for Dements has somewhat unexpectedly given evidence of life, but only those who were in a position to put actually on board have been able to take advantage of the inquiry, which, however, is hardly likely, considering the advanced state of the season, to continue. Dairy Produce—The market continues quiec, with a fair inquiry. -''"•' l Quotations are as follows:— Wheat—Tuscan 3a 5d to Zα 6d, Pearl 8s 4d to 3s sd, Hunter's 3s 3d to 3s 4a. Oats—Milling Iβ 7d, bright short feed Is 6d, inferior and discolored 1* J2d to Is4d.
Barley—Nominally 3s for prime malting, feed Is,6d tolsSd. , :
Beans and peas, 2s 6d for the former, 2s 3d to 2i 4d the latter.

Thb N«w Zealand Loan ahd HerCAHTILB AOfiNCT COMPANY, LIiUXJBD, report on the grain and produce markets for the week ending 22nd November, 1880, as follows ':— ■ ■ wool—The opening of the next London series on 23th inst., is anxiously looked forward to, especially a» the disturbed condition and consequent stringency of the money market, may have an adverse effect on. commercial matters., The quantity available is abated to be 221,400 bale*. Locally there are daily deliveries for the ensuing auction on 28th inst., when the catalogues to be offered should be more attractive to buyers than thoae presented at the opening sale three weeks since; Hides—Business quiet at oar previous quotations. Tallow and Fat —Prices remain unchanged. Best rough fat l£d to 13d, inferior to medium Id to l£d per lb. '"fallow in small lots 13s to 17s per cvrt. Sheepskins—Large catalogues were presented by the various brokers, and met good competition from the usual attendance of fellmongers and others. Prices displayed no material fluctuation from those of the preceding week. Butchers' best croaabreds brought 5s 0d to 6i 6d, ordinary do 3s 9d to 4s 6d, best merinos 5a to 5s 10d, ordinary 3s 9d to 4s id, lambskins 10d to 1* «d, pelts 8i to Is 4d. Dry and country skins fall rates. Wβ sold them up to ok 6d apiece.: Wheat—The market continues dull, and little business doing. In eymptthy with Home advices, values show a weakening tendency, but we do not make any alteration in quotations. Tuscan 3s 5d to 84 6d, pearl 3a 3d to 3* 4d, ttuuteir'al3s 2d to 3s 3d per bushel f.0.b., sacks extra. ■- - ■'■ Oats—Without alteration. Peas, hand threshed, Prussian blues, 2s 9d to &: other qaaiities Is 6d to Is 9d per bashel 10.b., sacks extra. . . Seeds— Ryegrass being now oat of season, is not enquired for. Machine dressed is quoted at 4s 6d to 43 9d per bashel; cocksfoot,' which is held in very small compass, 4&d to 4fd per lb. Dairy Produce—Butter fti to ejdperlb, cheese 3|d to 3|d per lb.
