Co. of New Zealand, Limited) report for the week ending November Ist, 1890:— Wheat—There ie a fair demand, chiefly for interprovincial requirements. Freight to London is still scarce, andconaequently speculation for export thither is restricted. Quotations may b* reported et Sa 6d for Tuscan, 3s 4d for pearl, 3s 3d for Hunter's. OatH nave had a quiet week, and ▼aloes are without alteration at Is 7d for milling, Iβ 3d to Is 6d for good teed, and Is 8d to Iβ 4d for common feed. v.
Barley—The market Is stagnant and prices nominal at % for prime. Sβ 6d foi good melting, and Is for inferior. whiU feed commands abcut U 6d. . ■ > ( Potatoes—Some small salsa have taken place on the baals of 10* to 15s at country stations, but business Is unimportant. From Sydney private correapQtsdeneo re ports that, owing to the heavy stocks ana the decaying of a considerable quantity, they are being lightered oat to sea. < Grass seeds are hardly Inquired for no,w, the season being over. Quotations— Machine-dressed rye grass 6s 3d, cocksfoot 4dto4*L Dairy Produce—Butter 7d, cheese 94 to3Jd. Quotations are &0.b,, sacks extra, pota toes excepted. , Auction Sales—We have discontinued these until next season, and are dealing privately with consignments on hand o» arriving.
