NEW ZEALAND'S REPLY*
IPKB PEES 3 ASSOCIATION/! ■ Received January 14th. 8 p.m. . ■ .*' Melbourne, January 14. The New Zealand Government has replied, to the representations, of Victoria on the subject of scab, that the colony is virtually free from that disease; also, they consider the Stock Conference was not warranted in passing condemnatory resolutions regarding the, administrative acts of a sister colony.
[PBBS3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] ■'.',. WELLINGTON, January 14. New Zealand is now free from scab, and inallprobability the whole of the colony' will have a clean certificate a few weeksj hence. This will not at once give the entree "to Australian porta, because there must be a period of probation, but it is, of course, a great step forward ia that direction.
